Individual Treatment

Individual treatment aims to address personal issues that affect the individual’s emotional state. These issues can range in severity and intensity, including symptoms affecting the person for a few weeks or even years. Symptoms might affect the person’s cognitive and medical/physical functioning, as well as causing relationship conflicts and decreased performance at work.

Purpose of individual counseling psychotherapy

The purpose of therapy is to support the person to improve his/her quality of life, addressing particular concerns from current or past events that might have been affecting the person’s emotional state. There might be issues of past trauma that has been affecting your daily life for years, or you might be going through a difficult divorce and feeling overwhelmed and without direction in life.

If your symptoms are debilitating and do not get better do not wait for symptoms to get worse, a professional counselor, using evidenced-base therapy techniques and approaches, can help you regain your mental health so you can live your life through your terms.
