Here are the easy steps to getting married in Florida.
- (Optional) Take the pre-marital preparation course.
- 3-day waiting period is waived. And licensed application reduced fee.

- BOTH parties need to be present/together to apply for a marriage license. Visit the courthouse/marriage service office.
- You can also start the application online, print it and take it to the clerk of courts.

- You will receive your marriage certificate about 10 days after the signed certificate is received by the clerk of courts. Your officiant will take care of that.
IMPORTANT:
- The license expires in 60 days.
- You cannot have a ceremony without a license.
